Sebastian Vettel is a German racing driver who competes in Formula 1 for the Red Bull Racing team. A four-time Formula 1 world champion, he is widely regarded as one of the greatest drivers in the history of the sport. He won 52 Grands Prix in 247 starts and stood on the podium 107 times. Vettel began his career in karting, before moving into motor racing in 2004. He joined Red Bull in 2009 and quickly established himself as a top driver, winning his first race at the 2010 Malaysian Grand Prix He went on to win back-to-back world championships in 2010, 2011 and 2012, becoming the youngest driver to achieve it. In 2013 he became the first German driver to win the Indian Grand Prix. Vettel is also a holder of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, and was ranked by Forbes magazine as the fourth highest paid athlete in the world in 2015. Sebastian Vettel is one of the most successful drivers in Formula 1 history, and it has shown no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
