<p> Montpellier is a city in the south of France, 10 km from the Mediterranean Sea. </p> <h3> Football Club </h3> <p> Montpellier Hérault Sport Club is a French football club based in in Montpellier and founded in 1919 under the name of Olympic Stadium Montpelliérain (SOM). When the club was bought in November 1974 by Louis Nicollin, he moved into the South East Division of Honor and it was under his leadership that the club Hérault, then called Montpellier La Paillade Club Sport Coast, will go back to the highest level in just eight seasons. </p> <p> The club settled permanently at the Mosson stadium in 1976. </p> <h3> Legends of football </h3> <p> Here are some of the players from Montpellier who have thrilled the club's supporters, René Dedieu, Pierre Hornus, Roger Rolhion, Joseph Kaucsar and René Gérard who has the record of the youngest selected in the French team.
