The triskel, also spelled triskell or triskel or also called triskelion or triqueter or triscelle (from the Greek τρισκελης / triskelês, "triskélès" which means to "three legs"), is a symbol representing three human legs, or three intertwined spirals, or any other symbol with three branches. The triskele is used in Greek antiquity, among the Vikings ... The triskele has also been taken over and integrated into the architecture of many abbeys, convents and churches. Triskel is used in the television series Merlin as a symbol of druids. For example, Mordred has a tattooed triskel on his chest. The triskele is used in the television series Teen Wolf, it represents the werewolves.
