Goku and Vegeta are two of the main characters in Dragon Ball Z. They start off as rivals but eventually develop a strong friendship. Their bond is tested many times, but they always manage to come out of it stronger. Goku is the more easy-going of the two, while Vegeta is the more serious and dedicated fighter. However, they complement each other perfectly and have a deep understanding of each other.
