STARS (Special Tactics And Rescue Service) is a special police unit. Founded in New York in 1967 and transposed to Raccoon City in 1972, it will be involved in the events of July 24, 1998. It was made up of only two teams: Alpha and Bravo. Behind the character with a pistol is the logo of the company Umbrella of video game REsident Evil.
