The Triforce is a golden triangle made up of three smaller triangles. It is the symbol of the Goddesses, who created the land of Hyrule. The Triforce was entrusted to the royal family, to be transmitted from generation to generation. When the evil Ganondorf obtained the Triforce of Power, he used it to wish to dominate Hyrule. However, the Triforce of Wisdom split into eight shards and was scattered across the land. Link gathered the shards, and with them he was able to claim the full Triforce and wish Hyrule back to peace. The Triforce is a powerful artifact that represents the balance between power, wisdom and courage. She reminds us that we must all work together to maintain this balance in our own lives.
