He is the twin of C-18, as the latter confirms herself. Originally human, named Lapis, he was transformed into a cyborg by Doctor Gero. Like Dr. Gero's other creations, it was designed with the purpose of killing Son Goku. However, his human character traits push him to rebellion and he will eliminate his creator. Always in search of Son Goku, he faces Piccolo in one of the most violent fights, but allies himself with the Namek against Cell. He ends up absorbed during his confrontation against Cell.
