<h3> A hobbit is what </ h3> <p> The Hobbits, also called Half-Men, are one of the peoples of Men living in Middle-earth. Their story is mainly told in Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, and more specifically in the prologue devoted to Hobbits and their country, the Shire. </ P> <h3> Notable hobbits </ h3> <p> Bilbo Bessac (Bilbo Baggins): Bearer of the Ring. He embarks on an adventure with the magician Gandalf and in the company of twelve dwarves led by Thorin Lécudechesne. In this adventure he discovers the One Ring of the Dark Lord Sauron. </ P> <p> Frodo Sacquet is the nephew of Bilbo, he bequeaths him the Ring and he is responsible for bringing it to Mount Fate to destroy it. </ p> <p> Samsagace "Sam" Gamegie is a gardener and friend of Frodo. </ p>
