Derek Jeter is a retired American professional baseball player who spent his entire 20-year MLB career with the New York Yankees. A five-time World Series champion, Jeter is widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time. During his career, he racked up over 3,000 hits and won numerous accolades, including American League Rookie of the Year, 14 All-Star picks and five Gold Gloves. After retiring from baseball in 2014, Jeter became a minority owner of the Miami Marlins. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2020.
